Tribal Fusion Strengthens Headquarters With New Hires
Company bolsters sales and network development staff at West Coast headquarters to achieve strategic targets and realize new growth opportunities
EMERYVILLE, CA – October 15, 2009 – Tribal Fusion®, the digital marketing solutions company owned by Exponential Interactive, Inc.®, today announced the hiring of several new employees in its Emeryville headquarters to support growing business opportunities.

Responding to more aggressive new business development, more robust technology offerings, and preferred partnership agreements, most notably with Havas Digital’s Media Contacts, Tribal Fusion has appointed a new Regional Vice President of Sales and expanded the sales and network development teams.
Harris Bernstein, Regional Vice President of Sales
Harris Bernstein will oversee sales teams and strategy in the West and Midwest regions, and contribute to Tribal Fusion’s overall growth, strategy and new business development. Bernstein has held sales executive and management positions with top Internet and publishing companies such as AOL/Platform-A, Advertising.com, Coolsavings, ValueClick, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times Newspaper group. Most recently, he was the Regional Sales Director at AOL/Platform-A and part of the West Coast Leadership team responsible for integrating the Advertising.com and AOL Northwest sales organization. Prior to that, Bernstein ran the Advertising.com San Francisco office, increasing revenue by 250 percent over 24 months. With more than 20 years of experience in advertising sales, new business development and sales management, he has successfully executed advertising campaigns with many of the country's leading advertisers, and consistently led sales teams to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Michael Soh, Sales Executive
Michael brings broad senior level experience across digital advertising, media, business development and management. Prior to Tribal Fusion, he was the Director of West Coast Advertising Sales for eHarmony, Inc. where he was instrumental in forging strategic partnerships with top advertising clients within the entertainment and automotive sectors. Mr. Soh’s territory was the top revenue-producing region. Prior to his transition into the Publisher/Buy-side arena, Soh was a seasoned ad agency executive, most recently as Managing Director, Digital for David & Goliath, LLC. While there, he oversaw all digital marketing initiatives for a portfolio of clients, including Kia Motors America, Bacardi, Universal Studios Hollywood, Anchor Blue and Mammoth Mountain Resorts.
Leah Cook, Sales Executive
Leah Cook has more than 10 years experience in television, print and digital media. In her new role at Tribal Fusion, Ms. Cook is responsible for managing advertising agencies and clients in the Bay Area and Northwest. She was most recently the West Coast Sales Director for WeeWorld, a leading avatar-based social network company, where she oversaw all advertising sales across the Western U.S. Cook has also held sales positions at Ziff Davis Media and Fox Sports Net.
Franco Xavier Owiti, Account Representative, Network Development
At Tribal Fusion, Franco Owiti is responsible for day-to-day publisher account management, inventory availability, and publisher account management of CPG and Automotive publishers. He focuses on generating deeper partnerships with publishers and developing beyond-the-banner opportunities for clients and the company. Mr. Owiti most recently worked as a Sales Executive at Premium Network.
